• RUSTNIL 7 is mobile liquids consisting of thin film forming ingredients, rust inhibitors and water displacing additives in solvents and best quality mineral oils. On evaporation of solvent, thin soft film is obtained.
• The water-displacing additives displace all the traces of moisture on the coated components, leaving a protective film of these products.
• RUSTNIL – 7 is used on a wide range of items and also on interior surfaces where elaborate protection is unnecessary and in certain cases for the interim protection of assemblies.

DESCRIPTION:

• RUSTGUARD – 15 is a water-displacing, solvent cut back, tar based, general purpose, corrosion preventive suitable for the rust proofing and protection of machinery, machinery parts and metals.
• RUSTGUARD – 15 offers a thin black, tough, slightly tacky film capable of being handled and resistant to rubbing when solvent evaporates.
• RUSTGUARD – 15 is suitable for preservation of single components, tools and spares. It is un suitable for internal use in engines and for sub-assemblies employing moving parts or parts with inaccessible recesses.

APPLICATION:

• Rustguard – 15 can be applied by any conventional methods like dipping, brushing or spraying.
• The film must be completely dry before wrapping as it is necessary to protect it from mechanical damage especially at the point of contact with the container.

REMOVAL:

• RUSTGUARD – 15 can be removed by solvents such as kerosene or mineral spirits. Particular care should be taken to see that small holes such as oil ways are cleaned thoroughly.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

• The metal surfaces to be protected must be clean, dry and free from rust to achieve the maximum performance of RUSTGUARD – 15.

STORAGE:

• RUSTGUARD – 15 should be stored at ambient temperatures away from the source of heat and naked flame.

CAUTION:

• While using RUSTGUARD – 15, ensure adequate ventilation; avoid contact with the skin and DO NOT smoke. The partially cured film should not be exposed to ignition such as flames sparks, excessive heat OR torches.
